I’ve just read something truly remarkable that has made me reflect on my past troubles that have led me to where I am today. This month’s meditation and mindfulness blog, is on the topic of faith.
I’ve been studying Beverley Anne Freeman‘s online psychic course and lesson 9 was all about Spiritual Healing that included a detailed transcript from a spirit guide named Silver Birch. Until today, I had never heard of this remarkable person and he deserves more research.
I love all those who try to serve, whether it be with healing or in any other form of mediumship. I love them all, for I know the difficulties they will encounter because that is an integral part of their mission. In the case of a healer, you have to suffer in order to have the essential compassion for sufferers to come to you. It is only when you have plumbed the depths yourself that you have the rightful feeling for others who turn to you when there is nowhere else to goSilver Birch on healing
Is this the reason that I’m now fully drawn to healing with the Tarot, Reiki and Gemstones and the feeling that I’m only starting out on my amazing adventure?
Faith in cosmic energy
I’ve always believed that our body contains our spirit and that our spirit can survive the death of the host. I still believe that our purpose right now is to continually learn life’s lessons for the next stage of our journey, but I don’t know what that is.
I have faith in the existence of universal cosmic energy and how we can heal our body, mind and spirit with it and right now my path is learning how to heal myself and bring healing to others.
Here’s another of Silver Birch‘s quotes that I find fascinating. The more I read it, the more compelled I am to find out more…
Life is always a polarity. If there were no darkness there would be no light. If there were no trouble there could never be any peace. If the sun always shone you would not appreciate it. You have to learn sometimes through conditions that seem a nuisance. One day you will look back and say, “We learned our best lessons not when the sun was shining, but when the storm was at its greatest, when the thunder roared, the lightning flashed, the clouds obscured the sun and all seemed dark and hopeless”. It is only when the soul is in adversity that some of its greatest possibilities can be realised.

Have faith meditation exercise
Here’s another quote from Silver Birch that I hope you will find very useful and interesting. It’s certainly thought provoking especially if like me, you have been in a dark place and somehow pulled yourself out of it and now you, like me are on an adventure to bring love and light to others through your own personal experiences.
I recommend that you begin this exercise alone, in a comfortable place that is free of distractions.
Play some quiet soft music and relax yourself by taking in deep breaths, feeling your stomach rise with each intake of breath and imagining it being filled with the healing light of the universes cosmic energy.
When breathing out, imagine all of the negative energies and stresses leaving your body and being distinguished within the cosmic energy that surrounds you.
When you’re ready, follow the words of Silver Birch below and record your thoughts in your journal. Namaste.
If doubt enters your mind, as it will do, then think back to the past, to the days of darkness and difficulty when there seemed no road to tread, where none was able to offer help, when it seemed that you had come to the end of everything that life could offer.Silver Birch spirit healer
Then in the darkness and gloom the little light of the spirit began to show its way to bring you where you are today.
You have many more pages of your earthly book to be turned. Thank the Great Spirit for the opportunities of service provided for you.
